Shelley the "Wonder Dog" takes on the frackers

Even Shelley has taken up the fight against CSG mining. She is now the official tour mascot.

National Day of Action against Coal Seam Gas mining - NSW

When: 12 Noon, Sunday 16 October
Where: Every town/community

Check the Lock the Gate website for arrangements.

There will be major rallies in Sydney & Brisbane at the same time.

Rural and regional communities are encouraged to make a banner "[Our Town] says NO to CSG" and send it to Sydney/Brisbane to be carried and displayed at the rally there.

Local communities are also asked to SMS the numbers attending to a central number so we can release to the media the communities and people who stood up to Defend Our Water.

Some activities that various groups have suggested:
- Have a letter writing table.
- Send letters to the state Premier calling for a moratorium.
- Take a picture of your community rally and send it to Lock The Gate.
- Send congratulations letters to Jeremy Buckingham MLC. Encourage him to keep fighing.
