We stayed at Moree overnight at the Gwydir Carapark. What a stunning place. They have their own artesian baths and have 4 different pools - all at different temperatures. You decide how hot you want to get.
As we left Moree heading for Gurley 30km south we passed a new billboard. It was a stunner.
The billboard was put up by the Gurley-Bellata Group Against Gas. What a great idea.
We arrived at Gurley at 9am (after an exceptionally early start). It was well worth it.
Penny Blatchford is a bundle of energy. We also met with John Tramby, a Moree Councillor. He moved the motion to impose their own moratorium.
Prime TV also sent out a crew from Tamworth to film a story. Here we are with the news crew.
Prime ran the story on their TV News tonight out of Tamworth.
Here is a link to the story: Prime TV News story - Duo on a mission
After leaving Gurley we travelled via Narrabri to Barraba to catch up with friends. In the morning we head to Mullaley (west of Gunnedah) for a community meeting.
Cheers
Michael & Julie
