Wednesday 7 September

After leaving Mullaley on Wednesday morning we meandered towards Gunnedah.

As we drove along Julie was watching the trees intently - lookin for koalas. Her efforts were rewarded. She saw two.

We stopped to take pictures but - to my great distress - I managed to delete them instead of save them. Grrrrrr!

Closer to Gunnedah we noticed the Waterways Wildlife Park (just out of Gunnedah) and decided to have a look. The park is run by Nancy Small, who Julie knew from her wildlife caring days in Werris Creek.

Julie got to see numbers of her true love - the Eastern Grey Kangaroo.
We also saw lots of other wildlife and Julie spent some time catching up with Nancy.
We ended up spending a couple of hours at the park and decided to spend the night at Gunnedah.

Cheers
Michael & Julie.
